Marta E. Sanchez, Ph.D. is Chair of SOE's Department of Teaching and Learning. She received her M.A. and Ph.D. in bilingual education from the University of California at Santa Barbara, where she also earned credentials in administrative services and elementary education and a B.A. in history.
