Expanding CEEL's Capacity to engage and impact various levels of California's education system for ELs.
CEEL’s Phase 4 project implements a systemic approach to improving education for English Learners through three goals, including informing policy research and engagement, expansion of partnerships, and reach to impact the implementation of legislation. These goals build on CEEL’s successful leadership and advocacy for revisions to the state’s IHE’s bilingual authorization program standards for the preparation of teachers in preK-12 bilingual/dual language education programs.
