Gwendolyn Dreyer serves as Director of Admissions and Recruitment for the LMU School of Education, where she leads recruitment and admission efforts across the school’s graduate, credential, and certificate programs. Before joining the School of Education, she spent seven years in graduate admission with LMU’s College of Business Administration, following six years in private school admission in Los Angeles.
Gwendolyn earned her Bachelor of Arts in Theater Arts with College Honors from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Her creative background includes theater production and performance and serving as editor and business manager for the two-volume, all-ages graphic novel series Monster Elementary. The series received Independent Publisher Book Awards in both 2015 and 2017, earning Gold and Bronze Medals, respectively.
At LMU, Gwendolyn has served on Staff Senate since 2022 and as chair of its Communications Committee since 2024. She is also a member of LMU’s Emergency Response Team and sings with the LMU Concert Choir.
Gwendolyn is a Master Adult Educator with Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles, for which she teaches camping and backpacking skills to adult volunteers and develops curricula and training guides in both subjects. She also holds a Wilderness and Remote First Aid certificate and USA Archery Level 1 Instructor certification.
