UB and UBMS are proud to partner with the Academic Community of Excellence (ACE) program at LMU to provide a mentorship opportunity for our students. Through this program, UB and UBMS high school students are paired with current LMU ACE mentors who share similar backgrounds and experiences. ACE supports underrepresented students including first-generation and low-income students of color as they prepare not only to complete their bachelor’s degree, but also to pursue graduate and professional studies such as master’s programs, PhDs, medical school, physician assistant programs, and law school.
This partnership creates meaningful mentorship connections where students can receive guidance, encouragement, and inspiration from LMU students who have successfully navigated similar challenges and are striving toward ambitious academic and career goals.
