The Catholic Companion Framework (CCF)

The Catholic Companion Framework (CCF), developed by Meaghan Crowley-Sullivan, M.Ed., M.A., offers a powerful model for guiding technology integration and innovation through a distinctly Catholic lens. Rooted in Church teaching and grounded in contemporary educational research, the CCF supports schools in discerning how emerging technologies can serve the mission of Catholic education—upholding human dignity, fostering wisdom and discernment, and nurturing community.
Our Role
The iDEAL Institute at Loyola Marymount University is the sole authorized provider of professional learning for the Catholic Companion Framework. Through our partnership with Meaghan Crowley-Sullivan, we are honored to help Catholic educators and leaders bring the Framework to life in their schools and systems.
Our professional learning experiences are designed to help educators:
- Understand the theological and pedagogical foundations of the CCF
- Apply the Framework to local contexts, policies, and classrooms
- Lead communities of practice centered on values-driven innovation
