Csilla V. Samay is assistant dean for International Students and Initiatives at Loyola Marymount University, where she oversees the Office for International Students & Scholars. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Intercultural Relations and has worked in international education and training for over two decades, both in the U.S. and abroad. Csilla is active in the Association for International Education Administrators (AIEA), NAFSA: Association of International Educators, and serves on the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities (AJCU) International Education Executive Board. Her research interests include international student and scholar issues including orientation to and experiences in the United States, impact of Jesuit education on career path, and influence of cultural lenses on issues of academic integrity.
