Dr. Matt Hill has been the Superintendent of the Burbank Unified School District since 2015. Previously he was the Chief Strategy Officer for the Los Angeles Unified School District. Hill has also worked as the Executive Officer for Strategic Projects for the Oakland Unified School District. Previously, Hill worked for Accenture. He holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership for Social Justice from Loyola Marymount University, an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina. Hill currently serves on the Board of Visitors for LMU’s School of Education, Board, Woodbury’s School of Business Advisory Board, the Board of Directors for Leadership Burbank and previously served on the Board of Directors for GreatSchools, the Children's Council of San Francisco, the Association for Education Finance and Policy (AEFP), and was an advisory board member for the Surge Institute. He is married and has two sons.
