With schools moving forward with technology initiatives, there is a systemic need for training and leadership. The Technology Integration Specialist professional certificate program is run out of the iDEAL Institute at Loyola Marymount University and is intended to create a pipeline of teacher-leaders in K 12 schools that effectively, systematically, and intentionally understand how to integrate technology into the school curriculum instruction and assessment. With a focus on establishing a capacity for shared leadership through instructional coaching, development, and the facilitation of professional learning communities, it instructs participants in ways to support school site long-term sustainable change in collaboration with administrators and teachers.

Participants will use the leadership and technology training from this program to conduct ongoing technology integration professional development at their own schools and serve as accessible resources for integrating emerging technologies into the curriculum.
