Ana Baez is a first-generation college graduate and academic advisor who is passionate about supporting students' personal and academic growth. Born in Michoacán, Mexico and raised in Lennox, California, she brings a unique perspective to advising, shaped by her own experiences as a first-generation student. Ana earned an M.A. in Guidance and Counseling from Loyola Marymount University and a B.A. in Psychology from California State University, Dominguez Hills.

Outside of work, Ana enjoys photography, writing poetry, cooking with her mom, and listening to music. A lover of nature and coffee, she believes in the importance of mental health and encourages students to find balance between academics and well-being. Guided by the mantra, “What good are wings without the courage to fly?” – Atticus Finch, To Kill A Mockingbird (Harper Lee), Ana is committed to helping students embrace challenges and pursue their goals with confidence.
