Academic Advisor: Lorenzo Wuysang

Lorenzo Wuysang is an Indonesian-born and Inglewood-raised product of Upward Bound and has worked closely with Upward Bound programs since graduating High School. Upward Bound was a transformative experience and without it, he definitely would not be the person that I am today. Lorenzo's life's mission is to be the person he needed when he was younger and to honor those who have helped him along the way. Lorenzo loves writing music and poetry, performing with his band, and leading worship at Church. Trying out new coffee shops is one of his favorite things to do; on the weekends, you can catch Lorenzo at a flea market somewhere in LA hunting for some vintage clothing with an iced oat latte on hand. (unless we have Saturday Academy that day-- in that case, you'll see him on campus!)"
