Through the LMU Family of Schools partnership, dependents of LMU faculty and staff are eligible to enroll for schools in the Family of Schools network.
Interested colleagues should contact each school directly regarding their desire to enroll, and alert the school to their status as an LMU employee. Next, the school will reach out to the university to confirm employment status and will advise on enrollment projections and whether a lottery will be required. Which family members of LMU faculty and staff are eligible for enrollment at LMU Family of Schools?
Dependents of LMU faculty and staff (i.e. children of employees) are eligible for Family of Schools enrollment. Grandchildren of LMU faculty and staff are not eligible.
Is FOS public school enrollment guaranteed for LMU faculty and staff?
No, Family of Schools enrollment for LMU faculty and staff is not guaranteed, as public school law dictates who can enroll and how. LMU's Family of Schools partnership allows for inter- and/or intra- district permits depending on residence, but there’s no guarantee for enrollment.
Is FOS charter school enrollment guaranteed for LMU faculty and staff?
No, Family of Schools enrollment for LMU faculty and staff is not guaranteed. Charter schools in the Family of Schools network have an application process, and sometimes a lottery system if at capacity.
