Christopher Gu, MBA

Christopher Gu joins the LMU School of Education as the inaugural Associate Dean for Administration and Finance after more than a decade of experience at higher education institutions in New York City. Most recently, he served as the Senior Director of Finance, Operations, and Analytics at the Bank Street College of Education. He has also held senior leadership roles at Fordham University and Teachers College, Columbia University. 

Christopher is also passionate about teaching financial management as a university lecturer. He currently teaches the graduate-level course, Nonprofit Financial Management, at the Columbia University School of Professional Studies, and the undergraduate course, HR Financial Decisions, at the Rutgers University School of Management and Labor Relations. 

Prior to entering higher education, Christopher worked in broadcast journalism and television production. He holds an M.B.A. from the NYU Stern School of Business and a B.A. in Journalism from NYU. He was born in Los Angeles and is thrilled to be back home!
