The LMU SOE Doctoral Program in Educational Leadership for Social Justice applied and was granted membership to The Carnegie Project on the Education Doctorate (CPED) this spring.
The SOE will join more than 50 current members in the important work of redesigning professional practice preparation in education. Acceptance into this Consortium will allow us to examine opportunities to reimagine the Ed.D. as the professional education doctorate of choice and positively impact the improvement of teaching and learning in P-20 school contexts. It brings national recognition and prestige to our doctoral program, which continues to drive the LMU SOE climb in the U.S. News and World Rankings.
