Preparing for your Interview
Some helpful reading materials as you prepare for your interview:
POST-ACCEPTANCE:  California Teaching Credential Items to Complete

Subject Matter Competency/ CSET Examinations

During your first semester of enrollment (Summer II), our team works with you to review prior coursework, ensure completion of bachelor's degrees, and determine which CSET examinations are required for the grade level(s) and subject(s) you are teaching. as required by California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.  This determines which examinations are required and/or if a coursework waiver is approved.  You'll want to complete these exams as soon as possible, preferably before you begin teaching when life gets busy!

Public School Observation Hours

During your program, our team works with you to verify applicable previous observation hours, hours completed within your coursework, and/or additional Public School Observation Hours, as required by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
