Ana is a first-generation graduate who earned a B.A. in Psychology from California State University Dominguez Hills and continued her education with an M.A. in Guidance and Counseling from Loyola Marymount University School of Education. With a background in K-12, two-year colleges, higher education transfer admission, and university policy, Ana is deeply committed to the School of Education's mission and dedicated to the success of its candidates.
As an Academic Advisor, Ana brings her expertise to guide and support students in their educational journey. Having served in pivotal roles within her alma mater, she is driven by a strong desire to give back and make a difference. Her journey as a woman of color with Mexican heritage has fueled significant community engagement throughout her academic and professional career. Ana takes pride in aligning her life purpose with serving others and remains passionate about her commitment to the community.
Maureen Herbert
LiveText Coordinator
Maureen manages the School of Education’s LiveText assessment software system and is responsible for setting up course signature assignments developed by faculty that are aligned with the School of Education’s candidate proficiencies and outcomes, and state and professional standards. She is responsible for collecting and reporting data to support the School of Education’s assessment of programs and accreditation.
She works in collaboration with all of the School of Education departments providing LiveText training and support to students, faculty members, and staff. Maureen staffs the LMU LiveText helpline and hosts drop-in sessions to provide assistance for students with their LiveText assignments and projects.
Hannah Catron
Academic Administrative Coordinator
Hannah provides administrative support to the School Psychology, Counseling, and CWA programs. She received her B.A. in Linguistics and German from the University of Iowa and her M.A. in Linguistics from the University of South Carolina.
