Accelerated Master’s Program for LMU Undergraduates

Qualified undergraduate students who are enrolled in a credential program through our Center for Undergraduate Teacher Preparation (CUTP) can continue their studies to earn a Master of Arts in Educational Studies in just one additional year. This cost-effective and convenient option will boost your earning potential as a teacher or in other fields of employment. Your major advisor and your CUTP advisor can offer you more details if you’re interested in pursuing this option.

Two-Year Master’s Program

If you already hold a bachelor’s degree, the two-year M.A. program in Educational Studies offers you the opportunity to build a curriculum that’s tailored to your interests and goals. It consists of four core courses and six elective courses chosen in consultation with your academic advisor. Please note that this program is not suited for students who wish to work as credentialed classroom teachers, but rather for those who wish to gain more theory and experience in the field of education.
