Counseling Graduate Student Association (CGSA)
The Counseling Graduate Student Association (CGSA) at Loyola Marymount University is a student-led, faculty-advised organization committed to elevating the voices of our Counseling Program students. We foster a collaborative environment where students, faculty, and staff work together to tackle key issues, exchange valuable insights, and promote growth across social, professional, and academic spheres. Our dedication extends to connecting with and educating both the University and local communities—including K-12 districts, higher education institutions, and mental health sectors—about the transformative impact of counseling. By offering social, academic, and professional support, we aim to enrich the graduate experience for CGSA members through community-building, leadership development, and active participation in specialty interest groups within the Counseling program.
