How Do I Apply?
There are two pathways for applying to our school counselor residency programs.
Option 1: You are currently employed by one of our partners
- Tell your employer you’re interested in applying for the school counselor residency program at LMU
- Your employer will interview you and notify you if you’ve been recommended to apply
Option 2: You are not currently employed by one of our partners
- Apply directly to LMU’s school counseling program
- If you are admitted, let your advisor know that you’re interested in the counselor residency program
- Your advisor will follow up with you about availability and next steps. Please note that admission to this program and expression of interested in a residency does not guarantee that a residency is available for you.
