Partners in Los Angeles Catholic Education (PLACE)

PLACE Corps is Loyola Marymount University’s nationally recognized Catholic teacher service corps, housed in the School of Education. Built upon three pillars - Professional Development, Community, and Spirituality - PLACE Corps members earn a master’s degree and credential while serving as full-time teachers in under-resourced diverse urban Catholic schools in the Los Angeles, Orange and San Bernardino areas of Southern California. During their two-year commitment, program members live with one another in community while exploring and strengthening shared values rooted in Catholicism, and providing inclusive experiences with a commitment to social justice. PLACE Corps is a proud member of the Catholic Volunteer Network (CVN).
