The Mathematics Leadership Corps (MLC) is a partnership comprised of Loyola Marymount University's (LMU) School of Education, K-12 school districts, various philanthropic and operating foundations, as well as non-profits.
Through MLC, a team of LMU faculty and staff collaborate with school districts to strengthen the school district system's problem solving capacity, individual and collective leadership capacity, and K-12 student-led learning in mathematics.
LMU's School of Education is an important component of MLC's partnership. MLC bridges academic theory with practice to inform best practices and implementation in the field. We also leverage LMU's robust clinical education programs to provide professional opportunities to our school district partners.
