Catholic Higher Education Collaborative Hosted by LMU
In mid-October, over 70 attendees from Catholic higher education, Catholic
school superintendents, principals, and community members were
represented nationally to discuss how Catholic higher education can
assist our nation's K-12 schools. The focus of the conference, which
was held at LMU, was the Immigrant Church. The three days together
challenged participants to think critically on actionable steps to
assist our nation's Catholic K-12 schools.
The closing keynote
speaker, Dr. Anthony Bryk, President of the Carnegie Foundation,
challenged attendees to think in new and innovative ways to save the
