Proposal Submission

The Call for Proposals for the 4th International Colloquium on Languages, Cultures, Identity in School and Society, to be held in Soria, Spain, July 4-6, 2018, is now open. The deadline for submissions is January 31, 2018, at 5pm California time.

Proposals (25 minutes long) must be submitted using the online system that appears at the bottom of this page. The Organizing Committee will communicate their decision to the authors via email during the first days of February, 2018.

The Colloquium revolves around the following topics:

  • Multi/Transculturalism-related issues in families, schools, and society
  • Impact of bi/multilingualism-related issues on individuals' and societies' language, culture, and identity

  • Promotion, maintenance, and development of minority and heritage languages
  • Implementation and outcomes of immersion, as well as transitional and two-way bilingual programs
