St. Aloysius is a co-educational TK (3 years of age) through eight grade Catholic school with a current enrollment of 210 students and it's located in the Florence-Graham neighborhood in South Los Angeles. We serve students of different races and ethnic backgrounds and our student body consists of African-American, Hispanic, white (non-Hispanic) and multiracial children. St. Aloysius is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.

Established on September 13, 1921 by the Sisters of Mercy, we celebrated our 90th anniversary in the summer of 2011 and are looking forward to our 100th anniversary in 2021.

The St. Aloysius faculty and staff are committed to ensuring that our students receive a well-rounded, faith-based education and graduate eighth grade prepared and ready for their high school experience and for life.
