| After the first year of MAST implementation, CST math scores for 8th
graders increased 3%. Two years after implementation, TL emersion and
certification, CST math scores for 8th grade students increase an
additional 20% to 47% of student passing with Advanced-Proficient
scores. |
Torrance Unified School District-Math ResultsCMAST TL during year 1 of training: After one year of MAST at Torrance’s Calle Mayor Middle School, with a teacher leader participating in initial leadership training, 7th grade math scores increased 9% whereas LAUSD and the state of California saw less than 2% increases.
