Catholic Higher Education Collaborative (CHEC) Hosted by LMU

In mid-October 2009, over 70 attendees from Catholic higher education, Catholic school superintendents, principals, and community members were represented nationally to discuss how Catholic higher education can assist our nation's K-12 schools. The focus of the conference, which was held at LMU, was the Immigrant Church. The three days together challenged participants to think critically on actionable steps to assist our nation's Catholic K-12 schools.

The closing keynote speaker, Dr. Anthony Bryk, President of the Carnegie Foundation, challenged attendees to think in new and innovative ways to save the future of Catholic schools. Watch Dr. Anthony Bryk's talk, or those of other keynote speakers at the conference.
