LMU offers a 63-unit cohort program leading to a combined MA in
Educational Psychology and California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS)
credential in School Psychology. Our rigorous,
NASP-approved program
prepares graduates to serve as school psychologists at the elementary
and secondary levels. Over 3 years, candidates complete 63 units and
engage in 1700 hours of supervised fieldwork.

Admissions and Application
To apply to LMU's School Psychology program, complete the following steps:
Step 1: Check on Prerequisites
Prior to applying, be certain that you meet the program's prerequisite course requirements.
Step 2: Complete an Application
If you fulfill the prerequisites, request an application here. An application and detailed instructions will be mailed to you immediately. Complete the application by February 8.
Step 3: Interview
Once
your complete application has been reviewed by the School Psychology
Admissions Committee, you will be contacted to participate in a group
interview. For the Fall 2009 cohort, the first round of interviews
will be held February 24. The interview is a mandatory step in the
admissions process.
Step 4: Receive Notification
Candidates selected for admission will be notified by the end of March.
Step 5: Complete Post-Admission Requirements
After entering the program, candidates must fulfill several post-admission requirements as they progress through the School Psychology Program.
