Higher Education Administration

The LMU School of Education's M.A. in Higher Education Administration program prepares students to be scholarly, reflective and transformative leaders in a variety of higher education institutions. Students are prepared to serve as reflective and justice oriented administrators in all divisions and sectors of higher education.

Through coursework, fieldwork and advising grounded in the Catholic Intellectual Tradition and the Jesuit philosophy of education LMU strives to graduate students of competence, compassion and conscience who are committed to the holistic understanding of student learning and development, administration as a vocation of service and the creation of a more just world through education.

The M.A. in Higher Education Administration program educates leaders who will be prepared and motivated to create a more just world through service in higher education. The program emphasizes the vital contributions and nuances of serving in two- and four-year institutions, private institutions, and religiously affiliated post-secondary institutions.
